Japanese culture and aesthetics are tangible in the simple yet stunning Cottle fleece jacket made from natural materials. The design was developed in the 120-year-old converted textile factory in Kojima, where Cottle has their workshop. Cottle proves that fleece can also be made with all natural dyed, highly selected materials. Cottle combines naturally coloured and naturally dyed fibres with uncompromising attention to craftsmanship. This dedication to artisanal skill and the mastery of natural materials is what sets Cottle apart.

This fleece is made from an exceptionally soft and warm blend of organic Fox Fiber cotton and yak wool, retaining the subtle natural color and character of the fibers. The distinctive color is the result of Ms. Sally Fox's decade-long work towards the most sustainable cotton, crossing the softest and most luxurious cotton variants (Supima and Sea Island) with a naturally brown cotton variant and cultivating her plants on an organic farm in California. The result is unmatched softness and a distinctive depth. 

Contrasting cotton-linen panels form the distinctive "sunset" chest inlay, elbow reinforcements and hem details. These handwoven fabric sections are naturally dyed with persimmon ("kakishibu"), creating rich brown tones that complement the undyed fleece. Three zipped pockets add practical storage, while the contrast binding and rope zip pulls complete the considered construction.
