The design was developed in the 120-year-old converted textile factory in Kojima, where Cottle has their workshop. Cottle proves that fleece can also be made with all natural dyed, highly selected materials. Cottle combines naturally coloured and naturally dyed fibres with uncompromising attention to craftsmanship. This dedication to artisanal skill and the mastery of natural materials is what sets Cottle apart.

We have embraced and cherished Cottle’s unique and meticulously crafted garments for years, and now we are pleased to introduce the DeeCee style exclusive Sunset Pile Fleece Jacket in cashmere. 

This fleece is made from an exceptionally soft and warm blend of organic Supima cotton and cashmere, retaining the subtle natural color and character of the fibers. The cashmere adds a delicate luster and an even softer, more luxurious handle, elevating the jacket beyond Cottle’s already exceptional yak-wool fleece while retaining the understated, natural character that defines the brand.

Contrasting cotton-linen panels form the distinctive "sunset" chest inlay, elbow reinforcements and hem details. These handwoven fabric sections are naturally dyed with persimmon ("kakishibu"), creating rich brown tones that complement the undyed fleece. Three zipped pockets add practical storage, while the contrast binding and rope zip pulls complete the considered construction.
