The name comes from a striking contrast: black stripes against white fur, much like the interplay of dark ink on bright paper that defines calligraphy itself.

Behind every piece is Zurich-based artist Stefan Nicolas Kunz. No machines, no shortcuts—just his hand and years of instinct. He started with graffiti at thirteen, later fusing that raw energy with classical lettering to create what he calls calligraffiti: a style caught between street culture and fine art.

His influences reach across continents—from Asian brushwork to the visual language of ancient civilizations—all reimagined into something contemporary, fluid, and unmistakably hand-drawn.
