In the small family-run knitting factory of the Collina's are the roots of the brand. After the second world war, the first sweaters for the german and north European market were produced with innovative machines. The small workshop soon became the harmonious center of an area that became the heart of the Italian knitwear scene. In the midst of technological innovations and creative twists that led the company to work on orders for important Italian fashion houses, the young Roberto Collina, son of the founders, decided in the early 1980s to use his name for a capsule collection of men's sweaters. From that moment on, the success of the Roberto Collina brand was consolidated. With contemporary ideas combined with Italian tradition, the most important values became quality, beauty and continuous research.
