Knox began in 1981 when the founder who still leads the business today, Geoff Travell, was a young British motorcycle racer and body armour just didn’t exist.
Today Knox is still a family-owned business, focusing on what the company does best: body armour, gloves and apparel. The headquarters and manufacturing facility are based in the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria, United Kingdom.
