J. Augur Design – Sustainable Bags and Accessories from Reclaimed Materials.

From her studio in Claremont, California, designer Judy Augur has been creating one-of-a-kind bags and accessories from vintage and reclaimed textiles since 2002. With a unique ability to imagine innovative applications for textiles some would consider «past their prime», Judy is committed to extending their existence by transforming them into bags that are beautiful, useful and durable. Using preexisting examples of material culture as her springboard, Judy is drawn to objects that reflect the natural world through color, texture, balance, and form.
