Alden – Shoes That Write History
The Alden Shoe Company manufactures traditionally made footwear to this day. The shoes are characterized by high comfort, good fit and the tradition of quality genuine-welted shoemaking. The company was founded in 1884 by Charles H. Alden in Massachusetts, which at that time was the center of the shoe industry in America. At that time, one craftsman made one shoe per day. Much has changed in the shoe industry. However, for the family-owned business, the traditional values of quality and excellent fit are still mandatory today. Yet the Alden shoes are anything but dusty and appeal to young as well as older, fashion-conscious people.
