The New England Outerwear Co. 2-Eye Sports Chukka combines traditional Maine moccasin construction that are tried and tested in the harsh climates of New England with the easy proportions of a casual ankle shoe. Its moccasin-inspired shape is built from a light brown or dark brown suede, its understated design makes it a versatile alternative to heavier work boots.
A true moccasin constructions allows a shoe to wrap, shape, and mold to the exact shape of your foot. The lightweight wedge outsole gives the boot a more relaxed profile than a conventional heavy work boot. Designed to be worn hard, the leather surfaces will soften and develop their own character over time.
The boots are produced in their workshop in Lewiston, Maine. Each stitch is sewn by a craftsmen or women with over 20 years experience of making footwear. The brand use the very best materials such as Horween leather and Vibram soles.
