Celebrating Chinese New Year - Year of Dragon with this special 13oz Japanese selvedge denim. This unique denim is woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan. Rope dyed short slub yarns are used to create an uneven surface texture and tone. Over time, the indigo will fade to reveal contrasting vertical patterns. The ID on the selvedge is decorated with the traditional Chinese New Year colors of red and gold. The 10oz vegetable tanned leather patch is a standout. It features a custom embossed artwork of an anthropomorphic rabbit bursting through water. These jeans are meticulously cut, sewn and built in Canada. They feature contrast stitching, red pocket bags and silver metallic buttons and studs.
