The design was developed in the 120-year-old converted textile factory in Kojima, where Cottle has their workshop. Cottle proves that fleece can also be made with all natural dyed, highly selected materials. Cottle combines naturally coloured and naturally dyed fibres with uncompromising attention to craftsmanship. This dedication to artisanal skill and the mastery of natural materials is what sets Cottle apart.

It brings together the warmth and practicality with a more modern, urban expression, while retaining the thoughtful material choices and unique artisanal character that define Cottle.

This fleece hoodie is made from an exceptionally soft and warm blend of organic Supima cotton and yak wool, retaining the subtle character of the fibers. It is dyed using japanese ink, also known as "sumi".Contrasting cotton panels form the elbow reinforcements and hem details. These handwoven fabric sections are naturally dyed with indigo and japanese ink ("sumi"), creating rich dark blue tones that complement the sumi-dyed fleece. Three zipped pockets add practical storage, while the contrast binding and rope zip pulls complete the considered construction.
