"The socks return to earth and soil." Silk and Washi (Japanese paper) are natural, biodegradable fibers, decomposed by microorganisms in the soil over time—supporting  for sustainable consumption and production. These socks are made with Washi yarn from Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, created by shredding Washi paper. Japanese Washi paper offers excellent moisture absorption and breathability; silk provides superior moisture absorption and release; diatomaceous earth fiber (from Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture) adds humidity control. Both Washi and silk have natural antibacterial and deodorizing properties, keeping feet fresh even after all-day wear.
