The Danner Mountain Light Rancher is a heritage hiking boot built around one of the brand’s most enduring silhouettes. Made from Horween full-grain leather in Rancher Brown, the upper has a rich pull-up character that will develop deeper creases, scuffs and tonal variation with wear. Each pair is handcrafted in Danner’s Portland, Oregon factory.
The boot uses Danner’s stitchdown construction for a wider, stable platform underfoot, combined with a fiberglass shank and Vibram® 148 Kletterlift Megagrip outsole. Unlike the classic Mountain Light, the Rancher version uses a breathable Dri-Lex® lining, making it particularly suited to everyday wear in mild to cool conditions.
