This is a renewed model of the Samurai Vintage Series “S510HX,” featuring a new 15.8oz Samurai Cotton GL3 Selvedge Denim. The warp is a slubby #6 Texas cotton thread dyed a deep 1950s-style indigo, while the weft uses #5 Samurai Cotton—a short-staple Japanese cotton that adds nep and natural roughness. Woven slowly on the rare GL3 power loom (an early Toyoda Automatic Loom Company machine), the fabric retains a slubby, textured hand. The off-white "kinari" selvedge has a pale pink center thread, plus a single glitter lamé accent. Finished with kinari cloth bags, Samurai Japan iron buttons, thick hidden brass rivets, and a vintage-inspired leather label. The silhouette is a regular straight with a bit of room in the rise and waist, tapering toward the hem.
