FMDTL reworks the classic Type II denim jacket with a distinctly Japanese approach to proportion and construction. Made from 100% cotton denim in a deep indigo tone, the jacket features the familiar front pleats and extends it to the back as a signature look highlighted by contrasting stitching – all completed with the boxy workwear silhouette and metal hardware. 

Two buttoned patch pockets sit at the chest, while discreet side pockets add everyday practicality without disturbing the traditional front. The indigo cotton fabric has undergone a special three-year washing process, creating subtle fades and a remarkably soft hand.
