The Samurai Jeans Tropical Banshu Trucker Jacket combines the familiar shape of a classic denim jacket with a lightweight fabric developed for warmer conditions. Its pale green colour comes from a matcha (green tea) dye treatment, giving the workwear silhouette a softer, naturally uneven tone.

The Banshu tropical weather fabric takes inspiration from military cloth originally designed for hot climates. Woven at Samurai’s Banshu facility using slub yarns and a mesh-like structure, it offers greater airflow than a conventional tightly woven jacket fabric. The green tea dye creates subtle variations across the surface, adding depth and an organic character that will continue to evolve with wear. Two buttoned chest pockets and practical side pockets complete the trucker construction.
